Sheryl Crow says she's excited about the release of her first country album, Feels Like Home.

The singer-songwriter tells Billboard.com she feels like there's been "new energy breathed into" her career with the project. She adds that she believes the album includes some of her "best stuff."

Feels Like Home features Sheryl's current single, "Easy," but she says her favorite track on the set is probably "Waterproof Mascara." Crow co-wrote the song with Brad Paisley and Chris DuBois, whom she calls "two of the finest songwriters that are out there." She describes "Waterproof Mascara" as "so high drama, and such a throwback to the '60s and '70s country music" she grew up listening to.

Sheryl adds that she thinks it's "the most important song" on the album. Crow's Feels Like Home will be in stores tomorrow.
